How ironic that I just wrote today about when I am weak. This weekend my husband and our boys were on a ski trip to WV with Boy Scouts. I had a phone call from my husband around 9:30PM this evening. He fell on the slopes and fractured his pelvis. The break extends into the left hip. Right now he is in a hospital in MD overnight for observation. It isn't definite yet whether or not he will need surgery to put a pin in or not. I am home alone and have been sick for several days.
Tomorrow we'll learn more about how/when he'll be able to travel home - about a three hour drive. At this point I don't know if I'll drive down and get him or what. Also please pray for our sons. Our oldest son was able to see him at the hospital, but the youngest was not. My husband was concerned for our youngest son because he was going to join my husband on the slope, but then chose not to. Please pray that God comforts him.
Thank you for covering us in prayers.

Praying for you and your family. I am so sorry for this hardship in the midst of a time when you are not feeling well and are not with them. I pray for wisdom for the doctors and for you. Insight as to how you will get him home. Comfort and companionship for your boys. Peace for your heart. Healing for David's hip. Strength for the journey ahead.
Love, thank you that Jodie, David, Joshua and Jeremiah trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding. Lord, help them in all their ways to acknowledge You and to see how You are making their paths straight. In Jesus Name, Amen.
I meant to start my prayer with "Lord, thank you that...." but He is Love so I guess that typo may have been Divine!
Blessings and hugs,
Renee
Dear Pearls,
I am so sorry to hear about your husband's accident! I know that it must feel worse being away from him and not being able to see for yourself how he is doing! We will pray for him and for your family. I pray that God will help it to not be as bad as it could be and that He will comfort your husband with his physical pain and you with your emotional pain and worry!
God bless you Sister in Christ!
Keep us posted!
