"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house." Matthew 5:14-15

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it." Matthew 13:45-46

Welcome November!

Can you believe it's November already? Let me start by taking care of business from October. The winner of last month's drawing is Ann Lacy Ellison. Congratulations! Be sure to contact me to receive your prize, Ann.

Speaking of prizes, this month I'll be giving away a copy of the new LIH release by Janet Lee Barton called The Mistletoe Kiss. I always love reading Christmas books and hope you will too. Don't forget you have to comment for your chance to win. :) The next drawing will be December 1st.

Let's have some fun today. Chime in and tell me what things you love about November. For me... I love that we are getting closer to December and Christmas. :)

I love the chill in the air, the smell of leaves on the ground, warm apple cider, Thanksgiving dinner, time with family and most importantly a time to remember the many ways God has blessed me. Now I try and thank God each day for those but there is something about November that turns our hearts to the importance of being thankful.
It's your turn. What do you love most about November?
What are you most thankful for today?
