"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house." Matthew 5:14-15

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it." Matthew 13:45-46

SNOW!

We awoke this morning to a very light dusting of snow on the ground. Even though I don't enjoy being cold, I love winter time because I love the simple beauty of snow. It takes a drab, winter day and turns it into a gorgeous wonderland. Whenever I see snow I can't help but think of how God washes away our sins and makes us as white as snow!

As I write this snow is gently falling outside. I know when my youngest son gets up he will want to try out the snowboard that he received for Christmas. Unfortunately there isn't quite enough for that to happen, but I plan to spend the morning enjoying the view from my kitchen window.

Yes, snow is beautiful. I love the view of it, but I don't like the touch of it. Anyway, that's besides the point you're drawing. LOL

Believe it or not we had snow flurries down here in Mississippi this morning! It was beautiful ....the flakes were SO big...but didn't last long and of course didn't leave any on the ground.
