"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house." Matthew 5:14-15

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it." Matthew 13:45-46

Visiting Proverbs 31 Ministry

I am back home now after a ten day vacation to Florida. I plan to blog all about our trip as soon as I get some free time today, in the midst of laundry and unpacking, doing school, etc.

I finally learned how to upload photos to my blog, thanks to Melissa and Renee. You can read about it at Melissa's blog entry "My New Friend".

On our long road trip home, we stopped off in North Carolina so I could see Proverbs 31 Ministry. It was such a blessing to me. Here is a picture of me, Renee Swope, Melissa Taylor and Teri Bucholtz.

Fun to visit you today. I found your blog through your comments to Renee. Great picture! Sounds like you had a wonderful holiday. I've recently had contact with all 3 of those ladies and it's neat to see a recent photo - thanks for posting it.
Don't work too hard today!
Blessings,
Joy

Hi Jodie!

We loved having you visit us P31 girls. It was fun to meet you and your family. Thanks for all that you do to encourage, pray for and support all of us. You are a pearl!!

So sorry to hear about your that the vacation honeymoon is over and that real life with big bills came to fast when you got home. I will be praying for a surprise provision for your garage door and car. I know God wanted you to enjoy that time with your family so don't even give the evil one a minute to steal that treasure!

Thanks for your prayers and encouragement on my blog today. Each day has been an adventure. We had four showings this weekend then quiet here all day. It's been good though b/c I have 6 radio shows and a devotion to write that are all due tomorrow.

My wrist also started hurting so typing is a challenge - but His grace and strength are mine as I lean on Him. I pray that same for you!

Blessings,
Renee
