Freezing rain fell throughout the night
We awoke to see a crystal wonderland.
Ice sparkled and shimmered,
Glistening in the morning sunlight.
Winds blow the limbs encased in ice
They sway and sparkle like diamonds.
Birds take rest amidst the crackling branches
Somehow too praising God for His wonderful creation.
