Luke 2:13-14 “Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."Worship means different things to each of us. A lot of Christians just think of worship as singing songs in praise to God. But worship is so much more than that. The dictionary defines it as “reverent honor and homage paid to God.”
When Jesus was born several took notice and came to worship the King of Kings. The first to worship were the angels. Next in line were the shepherds, and finally the Wise Men. All took notice of the significance of this baby that was born.
As we celebrate the birth of our King I pray that you will follow the words in the song, “Come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ the newborn King.”
